A warm welcome in Mid Wales
Grace and Adrian invite you to stay in one of our self catering holiday cottages set on a hillside overlooking the Upper Wye Valley in Mid Wales, one of the most beautiful areas of the country.
Located near Llangurig, first village on the river Wye. Our cottages are each equipped to a high standard and are a great base for walkers and cyclists. We welcome dogs.
Our Cottages
Wye View was originally a barn, constructed over 170 years ago from Welsh stone and slate. Tastefully converted, these stylish cottages now offer modern day amenities whilst retaining the charms of the past.
Both cottages have central heating, a fully equipped fitted kitchen, dining area, shower room, lounge with HD TV and Wi-Fi.
Our prices include bed linen, towels, heating and electricity. Book direct with us and there is no booking fee!
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Severn Retreat which was very clean & comfortable, providing everything we needed. Had a lovely time seeing the birds at the beautiful Elan Valley, Gilfach & Ynys-hir. Thank you for the lovely cake & eggs. Jeanette & Roger.

We have had a lovely stay in the cottage. Enjoyed exploring the area, great walks. Elan Valley walking & the dam open day is well worth doing. Kite feeding at Bwich Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre too. We hope to find time for a return stay. Madeline, Paul & Tully.
